Reiki is an incredibly intelligent energy. It
makes no difference if you are attuned remotely or face to face, although I have to say that wherever possible it is really
nice for me to have personal contact with my students.
If
you prefer to be attuned remotely, I will give you a choice of 3 dates to choose from. When you have made your decision on
the date and time, I will send you a copy of the Manual for Level 1. The manual will
include some relaxation and self-empowering exercises which I would like you to practice and do before you sit to receive
your attunement. It might also benefit you to sit in the gassho (prayer) position.
At the appointed time I will ask you to sit quietly for a few minutes
beforehand to prepare yourself for the energy exchange. It might help if you play gentle music in the background. After about
20 minutes, when the attunement has taken place, I will write up any information I received for you and email it to you. It
would also help me if you could send me any feedback from your experience.
After the attunement you will have a journal to complete for the following 21 days,
details of what to do are included in your manual. At the end of the process you will be turned on to Reiki for life.
In Level 2 you will receive another simple but comprehensive
manual with instructions on the 'Reiki symbols' and how to use them. The same conditions apply as for Reiki 1. Again,
you will be asked to prepare for your attunement and provide feedback, along with completing your 21 day journal.
